The ground breaking of a $50 Million RNDC Wine Distribution Center took place recently in Louisville. Republic National Distributing Co., a distributor of premium wine and spirits, is planning to build its 326,000-square-foot facility at 2801 Blankenbaker Parkway, which will include both warehouse and office spaces.
This new RNDC Wine Distribution Center will be the company’s new base, as they will be relocating there, from their current facility located at 2300 Stanley Gault Parkway, in Louisville. The relocation and expansion project will create 30 full-time jobs consisting of a new sales department and operations support. Development plans show that the facility will feature an upgraded conveyor system, along with a dedicated line to feed the facility’s palletizing machine. In addition, the operation will also make use of an eco-friendly design, which includes the use of highly efficient LED lighting.
