Our very own Stewart Skloss, founder of Pura Vida Tequila, is one of the featured Tequila makers in the brand new edition of Profiles in Agave Spirits.

The Profiles in Agave Spirits series of books is an encyclopedia for education, entertainment, reference and posterity with each volume including both English and Spanish translations.

By creating a Who’s Who in Agave Spirits, this series of books provides a ready reference for those in the industry, as well as those researching or hoping to break into the industry. 

The author, Lisa Pietsch, is a tequila and mezcal lover, part owner of Tequila Aficionado Media, and Publisher of Tequila Aficionado Magazine.

Pietsch believes that this industry deserves to have a lasting record of historical significance beyond oral history and urban legend.
