It’s almost been a full year since our initial COVID-19 lockdown. The first major holiday that suffered in 2020 was St. Patricks Day, a day known for going out to bars to drink and celebrate. While things are beginning to look better as more bars and restaurants are opening up and vaccine numbers are increasing, there’s still a cloud over what would typically be a day of celebratory social bliss. All of the usual parades have been either postponed or cancelled and it is still discouraged to have large gatherings. The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. Louis will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in a virtual format. Details on how and where to watch the virtual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be available soon on the parade's and run's website: irishparade.org.
The legendary St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in San Francisco will also take a virtual route.
The 43rd Michelob St. Patrick's Day Parade 5k Run will take place on the same date, and everyone will have the option to do it virtually!
