This month we celebrate Tres Amigos Café y Cantina as our On-Premise Pura Vida Tequila Purveyor of the Month.

The concept for this brand new Houston restaurant came to Delicious Concepts Restaurant Group CEO Ken Bridge when he approached friends Stewart Skloss, founder of Pura Vida Tequila and ZZ Top Frontman Billy Gibbons with the idea of finding a new home to showcase Bridges’ extensive and cherished collection of ZZ Top memorabilia that he’s amassed since childhood, while paying tribute to one of his favorite bands. “The three of us have tinkered with the idea of doing a ”hole in the wall” Tex Mex cantina that could house some of my and Billy’s favorite pieces in a casual atmosphere that serves classic Tex Mex, while benefiting the St. Jude Foundation” said Bridge. He further added that in honor of their friendships, 75% of the proceeds will benefit the St. Jude Foundation in Gibbons, Bridge and Skloss’ names. 

Tres Amigos features a very focused Tex Mex menu with classic combo plates, tacos, burritos and of course chips and queso, all favorites of the three amigos. The bar focuses on exclusive Pura Vida fueled specialty margaritas and feature Texas “tried and true” cervezas, along with a spotlight on the much anticipated Luckenbach Road Distillerys’ finest offerings. Bridge will also be adding live music to the new joint. “Christina and I are absolutely thrilled to be supporting such an amazing organization and to continue to give back to those in our company who have contributed so much to our success over the years.” states Bridge.
